Pesto Le Gruyère Panini

This crispy, aromatic panini is a mold of bold flavors. This is no ordinary sandwich, it's a crispy, hot cheese panini that is bursting with creamy Emmi Le Gruyère cheese and herby pesto.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices sourdough or white bread
  • 1-2 tbsp pesto
  • 2 oz Emmi Shredded Le Gruyère cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked shredded chicken
  • 2 tbsp butter, softened

Method

  1. Spread butter onto one side of the bread evenly. On the other side spread pesto onto each slice of bread.
  2. Add shredded Emmi Le Gruyère cheese to one slice of bread and shredded cooked chicken to the other. Close the sandwich and cook in a panini press for 2-3 minutes or in a cast iron skillet on medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side
